Do you want to know what to drink, the best bottles, cocktail recipes and a bit of history? These people, Diffords Guide formerly known as Sauce Guide, do fantastic thick magazine-type publications that are stylish, informative, comprehensive and witty. They are fit enough to grace any discerning cofffee table or bookshelf. I tend to only find them at outlets such as Borders that have a more eclectic range of publications. Nothing about wine in these things though. Just the hard stuff.
