Borat causes a diplomatic storm
Written by Gordon Fong
Monday, 25 September 2006

I know that Borat has got up the diplomatic noses of Khazakhstan before with their foreign minister saying that their moustaches don't even look the same. Very funny.

There are many more people out there thinking it is just as funny.

Spooks, BBC TV

Never watched Spooks before so when the new series started, with a highly frustrating and improbable story, initially I was in two minds but there was too much tension to turn over.

It does push the barriers of believability a bit too far but then again that is why I like the Hustle on BBC TV

Tummies in Slough
Written by Gordon Fong

8 Station Road, Cippenham, Slough, SL1 6JJ. Tel: 01628 68 486.

Me and Angela went to this restaurant as it was one of our friend's surprise birthday party. It was a very interesting place. Goes back much further than it looks and we had one of the private dining areas with about 24 of us there. Next to our room was the Chef's Table which is another dining area but where the chef delivers a custom evening of food a drink specifically for your event.

The staff were very efficient and once we sat down after the chit chat it was all pretty much excellent. We could actually see into the kitchen area from where we sat and all we saw all night was a very well oiled machine. No fuss or noise came out of there. Are those reality kitchen shows a bit of a over dramatic affair then?

Japanese Green Tea
Written by Gordon Fong
Saturday, 23 September 2006

OK, so this is not of the alcoholic kind and maybe it could even go into the Health section but I just wanted to get a few notes down on Japanese green tea as it is really nice and supposedly very good for you.

Don't confuse Japanese green tea to those that are packaged as Green Tea but from China. They are quite different things and definitely far apart with regards to their tastes. It is quite funny how as a British Born Chinese I absolutely love Japanese green tea and my Japanese friends always talk about drinking Chinese Oolong tea.

This is a very funny programme for adults and kids alike. The dafter the myth the better the rebuttal. On BBC2 Thursday nights.

Mythbusters explained.
