I spotted that Wagamama are coming to Bournemouth down on Westover Road, just up from Hot Wok incidentally so a bit of competition there. Actually probably not competition as Wagamama will be ahead in terms of quality, if the franchise maintains its strict standards.
The food and the menu is pretty mainstream but it does what it needs to do.
There early evening meal deals with beer, starter and main are a good starting point. The drinks can feel relatively quite expensive. Main highlights for me are the gyoza dumplings and yaki-udon. Angela has one of their udon noodles with a sauce on top, it there was a bit too much so it was swimming in it which was not good. I do like their ramen noodles. It is always fun and much better to be slurping up noodles in soup with a care for English senses of etiquette of making no noise. Slurp away and watch out for the splashback! Powered by AkoComment! |
