Just flicking through the TV I am always pleasantly surprised by the sensitivity and emotion of the deeds carried out in the Secret Millionaire. Always very touching and with a story that connects. Once finished I then spot the Dragon's Den and have no desire to watch it whatsoever. That kind of TV is only there to see people squirm or make people squirm for entertainment. A tale of two stories. One showing the good that money can do and the other just showing greed and arrogance.

Spooks Series 7 DVD I think Spooks is one of the best drama series on the TV recently. This last series, number 7, was over too quickly.
Still using the old series DVDs to help with passing the time away whilst ironing!

Local radio stations can be funny beasts. Full of cheesy inane chatter, mistakes galore, mispronunciations but also very lovable in their own peculiar way. I had liked Original 106 for a while now. The broad range of music was great as it would literally jump all over the decades and was a refreshing change from the blooming playlists of say Radio 1, where it could actually put you off a really great song because it gets played to death. Seems like Original 106 is morphing into The Coast, whatever that will be. Hopefully they will keep going with the mix of music and not boil down to current top 20 playlists.

Having gained confidence from the success of the first series, the comedy of Gavin and Stacey on BBC3 just gets better. One of my favourite segments is when Smithy called in on Gavin's house and broke into song - World in Motion . Add a Comment |
